Authentic Rajasthani sookhi rabodi, traditionally sun-dried in Marwar.
Made from hand-ground maize and sour buttermilk (chaas).
Slow-cooked, shaped by hand, and naturally preserved by the desert sun.
No preservatives, no chemicals – just real, traditional food.
A long-lasting “storage vegetable” for curries, sabzi, and snacks.
Rabodi is a time-honoured Rajasthani preparation — created as a “storage vegetable” for desert life, when fresh produce was scarce. Made with just a few humble ingredients and preserved naturally by the harsh Marwar sun, rabodi carries the wisdom of generations in every crisp sheet.
Marwadi Farm Sookhi Rabodi brings this forgotten delicacy from traditional Marwari kitchens to your home, exactly as it has been made for centuries.
Simple, Honest Ingredients
Prepared using hand-ground corn (maize) and naturally fermented sour buttermilk (chaas), seasoned with salt and cumin seeds.
Slow Cooking (Ghat Method)
The maize flour is slowly cooked in buttermilk on a traditional stove until it forms a thick, dough-like mixture known locally as ghat.
Hand-Shaped
While warm, the mixture is spread and shaped into thin, papad-like sheets by hand.
Sun-Dried Under the Rajasthan Sun
The sheets are dried naturally for 2–3 days under the intense desert sun until crisp and brittle.
Naturally Preserved
Once fully dried, rabodi can be stored for long periods without any preservatives — nature does the preserving.
